Kisspeptin-10: Benefits, Dosage, and Protocol
Kisspeptin-10 is a GnRH-stimulating neuropeptide that drives LH/FSH release from the pituitary, increasing testosterone. Used as a TRT adjunct to preserve testicular function and LH pulsatility. Also shows mood/anxiety reduction (decreases central GABA) and metabolic effects (increases adiponectin). Key dosing: 100-200mcg SubQ per injection, 2-3x/week when used with TRT. CRITICAL: Do NOT dose daily — receptor desensitization (KISS1R downregulation) risk causes paradoxical LH suppression. Pulsatile intermittent dosing is essential. Clinical IV bolus: 1 mcg/kg optimal (3 mcg/kg shows diminishing returns). Human RCT: 22.5h infusion raised testosterone from 16.6 to 24.0 nmol/L (PMC3380939). Contraindicated in hormone-sensitive cancers.
